What is Random Acts Improv Comedy?

Random Acts Improv Comedy specializes in what is known as short form improvisational comedy. Although similar to what you might see on the television show Whose Line Is It Anyway? the shows presented by the Random Acts Improv Comedy players are a little different and include music, sketch, and character driven comedy.

There is a 7:30 P.M. All-Audience Show and there is also a 9 P.M. Mature Show which is not recommended for minors.

The guys in RANDOM ACTS IMPROV COMEDY think breaking up and past relationships are the perfect ingredients for a show. And they think Shannon Stott is the perfect person to tell the story-or rather-the stories of some of her...shall we say...more interesting past and future relationships. Poor Shannon. She's got more X's than a lopsided game of tic-tac-toe. EX IN THE CITY is a series of flashbacks that tell the story of those time when Cupid was just a little off target.

X in the City premiered in February of 2010.

What happens when a mad scientist traps two movie goers in a theater and forces them to watch a really bad movie? In the tradition of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the guys from Random Acts present DRILLER KILLER. Tortured and penniless artist Reno and his girlfriends Carol and Pamela hang out at their New York loft, enduring such problems as the phone bill, the rent, and a rock band that's always practicing downstairs. When it all becomes too much, Reno grabs his drill and runs through the city on all-night rampages...and the fun...and smart-ass commentary...begin!

Driller Killer premiered in October of 2009.

RANDOM ACTS goes back to the 18th-century to relive the pirate days of yore in their comic adventure, AAAARRR! TOWN. Skulk alongside the boys in a dungy bar. Crest the waves aboard their leaky galleon. Get lost on an island surrounded by blood thirsty natives. Seek out treasures beyond your wildest imagination. The comedy/adventure unfolds with RANDOM ACTS usual cast of characters engaging in action-packed exploits, song, and dance all based on your suggestions!

HI-larious-NOON presented by RANDOM ACT's ensemble cast, stampedes through a rip-roaring story of revenge, Old West style. When one of the best and brightest in a little town is found shot in the back, the towns' people are in an uproar. None more so than the deceased's younger brother, who suspects the wicked Ramon of this dirty deed.

Jack is just your average everyday poor boy who lives in the Enchanted Woods with his mother. Suddenly, though, Jack finds himself on a grand quest to the "Big City" to save his tiny family. Before you can say "mirror mirror on the wall", Jack finds himself in a strange and magical adventure! RANDOMLY EVER AFTER: An Improvised Fairy Tale features music, fun filled improvisational games, and tons of audience interaction.
